A friend traveler offers his words of
wisdom, a tip which could be worth enlightening to you and me who wish to
resume our continuing journey in life.
As
in any sojourn, he said; first know the direction and destination. Never hesitate to make a first step for “the
journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Assume imperfection in
our moves because human frailty comes in times when we do not expect it. A
successful life is never an accident, it’s a result of good decisions, sacrifices,
guts, risks and allowing God to live and reign in our hearts and minds. Learn
and feel contentment in our hearts as we proceed no matter what our status
would be, just know how to appreciate the blessings we receive from above. If
we stumble, commit unpopular decisions which lead to humiliations displeasing
the society, we have to acknowledge our weaknesses and show remorse, the hurt
may be less if we start coping the situation and go on with the new life than
having a life under the cover of so many pretensions. The important thing, he
said, we take responsibility of what we’ve done. The inevitable pain we
realized is part of our growing that should not deter our desire to move
on. So we must now translate the hard
lessons into wisdom and allow the learning to guide us as we go on into the
next step of the journey.
Reassess where we faltered, and the
desired destination must be re-clarified. It is necessary to know the things to
be improved and take a new route if needed, and know if we have enough energy
to proceed. It’s a long way for sure
there will be perils that line in our path and no matter how astute we are, some
events not to our liking it’s going to happen beyond our control. But we should be ready to face them, keep knowing the guidance and wisdom of those who traveled ahead of us, as they remain a
faithful beacon in any tumult that our journey shall face.
For
the couple you should be firmed towards the consolidation of your strengths,
the refocusing of your collective purpose, and the enhancement of your shared
resolve to support the plans of achieving your aspirations.
In life many things happen unexpectedly. So we must be prepared, as to where and when our journey ends, it will surely come when we are all out of time, not in harmony with other matters, or simply put it we have no more time. No matter how we plan and arrange our lives in order, it's still God's plan that prevails in the end. Good luck!

Life is an endless journey. It consists of strength, courage, hopes and faith to survive and to gain good reward at its end.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this letter with me. It reminds me once again how challenging life can be. I may encounter life’s ups and downs, success and failures along the way, I believe God’s greatness and mightiness would always here to guide me in any path I choose to walk with. God bless!!!
Thanks for sharing your comments, the roller coaster-type of experiences, your life's struggle, still upkeep in heeding your life with the guidance of the divine providence. Keep it up, God bless us!
DeleteI believe our corporal existence is just too short. The biblical life span for a healthy person is put to an average of 70 years of age more or less. As most of us, we believe there is life after death, we should be prepared in this journey of ours to an endless life. The more the hardest and challenging experiences we encounter here on earth, though, the greater is the reward that awaits, the glory of God in heaven.
Deleteside by side, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand...left foot forward and right foot, let's walk this journey..when we get tired, we rest and back again until we're there, God only knows when & where...
ReplyDeleteYou inspired many and by that, you give hope. so keep on going on this journey because God is with us all along.. He will not left us, & when we fall we get up, or when things get worse, that's when He will carry us on our journey. "footprints" thanks for the reminder. God is good!
Your comments motivate me to write something more. If one good attitude is felt in dealing with other people matters most, how much more if all or if not majority work side by side in harmony with each other, it really does make the difference. Our journey will surely be a happy one.
DeleteAmen!!!
DeleteYes, Amen...amen..a friend told me that a beautiful life is not achieved just like an instant coffee, it's patiently brewed with care and sipped hot in prayers!
Deleteyes of course, with a little sweeteners, the sweetness of hope and a bag of love that God bestows on everyone..we may have a long journey yet, but when the going gets tough, the tough keeps going. as an "energizer bunny keeps on going and going"...Be of good courage to take on this life's journey!!!
DeleteYes...I agree tsayl, and I drink to that!
DeleteI would like to share these nice thoughts written by Lee Wei Ling (daughter of Lee Kwan Yew)as an add on comments here from the part of her nice and touching article: "When the end approaches and we look back on our lives, will we regret the latest mobile phone or luxury car that we did not acquire? Or would we prefer to die at peace with ourselves, knowing that we have lived lives filled with love, friendship and goodwill, that we have helped some of our fellow voyagers along the way and that we have tried our best to leave this world a slightly better place than how we found it?"
